Never too 'old' for May Crowning.  Today Sr Therese crowned Our Lady in our grotto.  The sisters processed around the monastery grounds and stopped at various places of devotion to Our Lady as we prayed the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary and then made our annual Act of Consecration to Our Lady together.

Most Holy Mary, Mother of Jesus, Mother of Grace and my Mother, I give myself to you without reserve and forever.  Accept me, guard me, and keep me to the end, that being completely yours, I will always belong completely to my God.  Amen.

What a glorious day to celebrate the greatest and most profound mystery of our faith, the Triune God.  Trinity in One, One in Trinity.  And the great mystery of communion and union in the Trinity that we share personally and with others in community and family, and personally in solitude with God.  This communion that we share with God and others is from God, and ultimately returns to God.  It is an eternal reality.

Soon two of our sisters will attend the triennial General Meeting of the Association of Mary Queen of Carmel.  In these meetings various business and sharing occurs amongst the member Carmels and we have elections for the Coordinator and Council of the Association.  One project we are most grateful for is being developed by the Order of Discalced Carmelites for us in the United States - the Formation of Formators.  This is a real sign of hope, progress and development of Carmel in the U.S.  We are most grateful for all those in the forefront who specially helped this to develop to the present stage.

We hope and pray you have a most Blessed Summer and persevere in Grace with Jesus.
